With the start of the new year, we are pressured by the desire to motivate the people around us. This is especially true for our customers, with whom we want to achieve new goals in the year ahead. But it often happens that we run out of ideas from the very beginning, which makes us simply surrender to fate and pick out gifts that they have probably already received from someone else. That is why we have prepared a list of three promotional gifts, which you can give to each of your loyal customers throughout the year, and express your gratitude to them with a personal message and give them hope for the coming months.

After a busy year behind us, probably each of us wants a safe, healthy, and above all predictable year 2021. This is of course difficult to achieve every year, no matter what situation we find ourselves in. Nevertheless, after many ups and downs, we certainly deserve the opportunity to get through the coming months as positively as possible, and to become stronger and more committed to our goals throughout the year, no matter what. Therefore, design promotional gifts this year in the sense of an “ever-lasting gift” – connect different products into a story that will inspire your gift recipients at the very beginning of the new year.

#1 Help Your Customers with Organisation

This is where a portfolio comes in handy, making it easier to organize all your documents and notes. It can be followed by a notebook, which can become our best friend during even the most difficult weeks and help us organize the workday. A notebook can also help us keep track of the habits we strive to introduce into our daily lives. Most often it is daily exercise, positive thoughts, saving money, a healthy diet… But despite the fact that we promise a healthy lifestyle every year, most of us “forget” about this New Year’s vow after a week. It is true that a notebook reminds us of them, but somehow, we always find a reason (or, rather, an excuse) to justify a missed hour of daily exercise and drinking fresh water.

#2 Take Care of Your Health

To make it harder to avoid these healthy habits for not only ourselves, but for our clients as well, surround yourself and them with gifts that will not only remind us of new habits, but also inspire us! A water bottle with a unique design or a stopper in your favourite colour will surely be used by each of us every day, and the same can be said for a fashionable sports jacket that will keep us warm even in the coldest months. Maintaining healthy habits is much easier if we look forward to them before it is their turn.

#3 Take Care of the Environment Too

This year, give your customers something that will broaden their horizons. No, we are not talking about motivational books, but about products that benefit us, people, as well as our planet. The beginning of the new year is perfect for a serious commitment to caring for our environment with an approach to zero-waste lifestyle (you can read more about this here). The previously mentioned bottle can contribute to more conscious waste management, as it consequently avoids the purchase of bottles. And the possibilities are endless – to introduce your customers (and last but not least your employees and business partners) to a more environmentally friendly way of life is enough a pencil that grows into a spice, or a greeting card with seeds.

#4 Don’t Forget About Personalization

Despite the fact that the above promotional gifs are quite common, this time you can turn them into something special with complete personalization of the product. Consider the name of the gift recipient, the colour of the gift and the personal message – by paying attention to the smallest details, you will make sure that your customers will remember this gift forever. But before you embark on personalization, you need to follow a few basic rules:

  • Personalizing gifts is something that makes everyone happy, whether it includes the name of the gift recipient, the company logo, or even a motivational quote. Of course, make sure how detailed the personalization on your gifts can actually be – you want to stay within your budget and make sure that every customer receives the same gift.
  • The colours of both promotional and business gifts subconsciously affect the mood and thinking of the gift recipient, so do not rush through the selection of shades and hues.
  • The message or letter should be considered a mandatory part of business gifts and, if possible, it should be accompanied by business gifts. In a personal message, you can wish the recipients happy holidays, congratulate them on a successful project, or invite them to participate in a future event. In any case, the attribution of the gift adds a personal touch and makes the whole thing even more personal.
