Case made from walnut wood. Walnut as a fruit is a longstanding symbol of fertility, and a walnut as a tree is a symbol of might. The motif of a Kropa window is carved on the side of the box. These cases were used on farms to store shaving accessories, jewelry and other small things. The cases were decorated, sometimes sacred with monogamous engravings.
